Introducing the #SayILoveYou Air Force 1, in collaboration with the Dr. Brandt Foundation for Art Basel Miami to raise awareness about the importance of mental health with the #SayILoveYou campaign. A percentage of the proceeds will be donated to the Dr. Brandt Foundation.
Using the classic Air Force 1 silhouette as his canvas, Dominic Ciambrone's personal handwritten story – the good and the bad, his real experiences of battling depression and anxiety, and the positivity of finding a way to channel those feelings – is sublimated onto 1000 Denier Cordura material, backed with vegetable tanned leather, to create the panels of the shoe. The palette of colors featured throughout the shoe illustrates the spectrum of emotions that ultimately lead to the creation of a beautiful masterpiece.
Every pair is handcrafted to order. We are selling a customization SERVICE. Within this cost, we have included a sourcing fee, for the base pair Air Force 1 in size ordered with a White outsole.
